Background:
Ms. Chiny Liu has over 10 years' experience in the financial industry. She started her career as a business reporter specializing in banking and finance for the Hong Kong Economic Journal”]«H³ų”^dating back to 1988. After working as a journalist for around 2 years, Chiny pursued her study in the Oxford Polytechnic in the UK and acquired a MBA degree in 1991 before coming back to Hong Kong to work. She joined a British owned Independent Financial Advisory (IFA) firm in April 1992 in Hong Kong. During her 4 years' of service, Chiny was promoted from an Adviser to Director and General Manager of the Company before her departure. By January 1996, Chiny joined Reliance as a Principal Adviser and Managing Director until today. Apart from meeting clients and potential clients to introduce financial planning services and giving investment advice on mutual funds and/or unit trust funds according to the latest change in various investment markets, Chiny also performed various management roles in the Company including the supervision of a team of Investment Advisers.
